Terms of service.

Clear terms for using Keyond, managing your account, and sharing information through our services.

15240085 Canada Inc.Effective October 15, 2026

Keyond is operated by 15240085 Canada Inc. (“Keyond,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms explain the rules and responsibilities that apply when you use our services.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Keyond’s website, portals, account tools, and resident services. Keyond is operated by 15240085 Canada Inc. (“Keyond,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Keyond, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Keyond on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to act for it. A separate written agreement with Keyond takes precedence over these terms where they conflict. These terms do not replace a lease, property-management agreement, purchase agreement, or other agreement you have with a third party.

2. Accounts and access

Use accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only the access granted to you. Do not share an account in a way that allows another person to bypass their own access restrictions. Notify admin@keyond.ca promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

An organization may invite you, assign permissions, or remove your access to its workspace, portal, property, or records. Your access depends on those permissions and may change. You must have the legal capacity and any authorization required to use the features available to you.

3. Acceptable use

Use Keyond lawfully and only for its intended purposes. You must not:

  • Access another person’s account or records without authorization, or bypass security or access controls.
  • Upload unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, or infringing material, or disclose personal information without appropriate authority.
  • Introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, send spam, or use automation that interferes with normal operation.
  • Copy, scrape, or redistribute restricted information without permission, or misrepresent your identity or authority.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain the rights you hold in documents, photographs, videos, messages, and other content you submit. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it and make it available to the intended recipients.

You grant Keyond a non-exclusive permission to host, store, copy, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and support the service and fulfil your requests. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Keyond.

Content may be available to authorized people at the organization managing your access or request and to service providers supporting that workflow. Some media is shared through a link that anyone holding it can view while it remains available. Share such links only with intended recipients.

When content is removed, limited copies may remain where reasonably needed for backups, security, legal obligations, or the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy. Copies already delivered to another organization may be subject to that organization’s policies.

5. Property information and service requests

Keyond provides technology used by property organizations and other customers. Those organizations are responsible for the information they supply and for their own property, sales, resident-service, and maintenance decisions. Confirm important details with the responsible organization.

Submitting a service request does not guarantee a particular response time or resolution. Keyond is not an emergency-response service. For an immediate threat to life or safety, contact emergency services. For an urgent property issue, use the emergency contact or procedure supplied by your property organization.

Using Keyond does not change your tenancy, ownership, warranty, or other legal rights and obligations.

6. Privacy and connected services

Our Privacy Policy explains how Keyond handles personal information. The organization managing your access may also have its own privacy policy and obligations.

You may choose to sign in with Google, LinkedIn, or another supported provider. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Signing in does not give you access beyond your Keyond permissions. Revoking a sign-in provider’s authorization does not automatically delete your Keyond records.

External links, integrations, and third-party services may change or become unavailable. Keyond does not control third-party services or their content.

Read our Privacy Policy

7. Keyond intellectual property

Keyond and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, branding, and materials we provide. Subject to these terms and your permissions, you may use the service for its intended purposes. No ownership of Keyond’s software or branding is transferred to you.

These terms do not grant you rights to another user’s or organization’s content beyond the access and permissions provided for that content.

8. Commercial arrangements

Any subscription fees, service commitments, payment terms, or cancellation arrangements between Keyond and a customer are governed by the applicable order or separate agreement. These terms do not by themselves create a paid subscription or authorize a charge.

Your organization may have separate arrangements with you. Contact it about charges or obligations it imposes.

9. Availability, changes, and ending access

We work to maintain Keyond, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and maintenance, security incidents, or third-party outages may affect availability.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect people or information, comply with law, or respond to the responsible organization’s access instructions. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue; urgent action may be taken without advance notice.

You may stop using Keyond at any time. Contact the organization managing your access, or admin@keyond.ca, about closing an account or retrieving records. Ending access does not automatically delete records that must be retained or cancel a separate agreement.

10. Service limitations and your legal rights

Except for commitments in a separate agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, Keyond is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every item of third-party information is complete, accurate, or suitable for your particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Keyond is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, such as lost profits or business opportunities. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limit any mandatory consumer, privacy, tenancy, or other statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms requires you to waive access to a court or regulator, agree to mandatory arbitration, or give up rights that applicable law protects.

11. Updates and general terms

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised terms with an updated effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical, or obtain agreement where required by law. Changes do not apply retroactively to an existing dispute.

Applicable Canadian law governs these terms, subject to mandatory laws and rights that apply where you live. Any dispute may be brought before a court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction. Please contact us first if you would like help resolving a concern.

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not by itself waive it.
